Never expect of others what you are unwilling to do yourself.

If you are not in the office, do not demand that employees show up.

Good managers hold themselves to the same standards as others. Great leaders hold themselves to higher standards.

The Golden rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated.

The Platinum rule: Treat others the way they want to be treated.

Never expect others to do what you are doing. If it is working for you or it’s your personal choice, it does not necessarily need to be true for another. Respect responsible freedom of choice.

Do not demand something without leading by example. Lead by example.

Being a role model is critical. It is also called “Walk the talk”.

Leadership is not just a title or position of importance as some people like to see it. — Say, Act, Coach, Live

What people say, reflects how they want to be seen. What they do, reveals who they really are.

Humility is acknowledging your weakness(es), not denying your strengths. Generosity is elevating others not diminishing yourself. Owning your success makes you a role model. So don’t downplay your wins.

“It is not fair to ask of others what you are unwilling to do yourself”.- Eleanor Roosevelt
